Hardware & IT Support

“Every Machine Specced, Racked, and Working”

Software only works if the hardware underneath it does. We handle the whole physical layer, specifying and sourcing workstations, servers, GPUs, networking, and storage, building and imaging them, racking and cabling, and then keeping the fleet alive with monitoring, patching, backup, and a real person to call when something breaks. From a five-person studio to a multi-site office, on-site or remote.

The challenge

The layer nobody owns until it breaks.

Hardware is the part of the stack that gets attention only when it fails. Laptops are bought ad hoc from whatever was in stock, the server in the cupboard has no monitoring and no warranty, nobody is quite sure which switch feeds which room, and the backup was last tested a year ago. It works, right up until it doesn't.

When something does break, the cost is rarely the part. It is the day a team loses waiting on a diagnosis, the project that stalls because the workstation could not handle the render, or the money quietly wasted over-buying machines that were never right for the work. Most organisations do not need a full-time IT department, they need someone accountable for the physical layer.

Our approach

One team accountable for the physical layer.

We start by specifying to the actual work: what the machines have to run, how many people, what has to be quiet, what has to be fast, and what has to survive a power cut. Then we source through trade channels, build and image the machines to a consistent standard, and handle racking, cabling, power, cooling, and network layout so the room is documented rather than improvised.

After deployment we run it. Asset inventory and warranty tracking so nothing falls off the map, monitoring and alerting on the things that fail quietly, patching and firmware, tested backups, and a clear support path with defined response times. We cover break/fix, RMA handling, and hardware refresh planning, and we work alongside your existing IT team or act as it entirely.

What's included

Everything you need, engineered to production standards.

End-to-end hardware support: we spec and source workstations, servers, networking, and storage, build and deploy them, then keep them running with monitoring, patching, and responsive on-site or remote help.

  • Specification, procurement, and trade-channel sourcing for workstations, servers, GPUs, laptops, and peripherals
  • Custom builds, imaging, and standardised deployment, including high-end AI, render, and video-editing workstations
  • Racking, cabling, power, cooling, and network layout for offices, studios, and colocation
  • Networking and connectivity: switching, structured cabling, Wi-Fi surveys, firewalls, VPN, and UPS
  • Managed support: asset inventory, warranty tracking, monitoring, patching, firmware, and tested backups
  • On-site and remote break/fix with defined response times, RMA handling, and refresh planning
Outcome

“Hardware that just works, with one number to call when it doesn't”

We engineer for production from day one, then transfer ownership so the capability stays with your team.

Where it fits

Built for the problems you're actually facing.

  • 01 Kitting out a new office, studio, or lab from empty room to working desks
  • 02 Replacing ad hoc laptop buying with a standard, supported fleet
  • 03 Specifying high-end workstations for AI, render, or video work
  • 04 Ongoing managed support for a team with no in-house IT
Tools & platforms

The stack we reach for.

Battle-tested tools, chosen to fit your team and constraints, never technology for its own sake.

  • Apple / Mac
  • Windows & Linux
  • NVIDIA GPUs
  • Dell / HP / Lenovo
  • UniFi / Cisco
  • NAS & Backup
  • UPS & Racking
Why AzeniQ

Why teams pick AzeniQ for this.

01

Specced from the work, not a catalogue

We size machines from what they actually have to run, so you are not paying for headline specs the workload never touches or discovering the limit three months in.

02

Engineers, not just a help desk

The same team that builds AI and cloud systems specs your hardware, so the physical layer is designed around the software it has to carry rather than guessed at.

03

Accountable after the invoice

Procurement is the easy part. We stay on for monitoring, patching, warranty, backups, and break/fix, with response times you can hold us to.

How we work

Engagements designed to leave you stronger.

Every service follows the same disciplined path: de-risk fast, engineer for production, then transfer ownership.

01

Frame & de-risk

We pressure-test the goal, define measurable outcomes, and ship a focused proof-of-concept fast.

02

Engineer to production

Hardened, observable, cost-aware systems built on AWS/Azure/GCP with security by default.

03

Transfer & scale

We embed the practices and mentor your team so the capability stays in-house.

Questions

Answers before you ask.

Do you only support hardware you supplied?

No. We will happily take on an existing fleet. We start with an audit, inventory what is there, flag what is out of warranty or past useful life, and build a refresh plan from that rather than insisting on a clean sweep.

Do you cover on-site support, or remote only?

Both. Most day-to-day issues are handled remotely, which is faster for everyone, and we come on site for builds, installs, cabling, and anything physical. Response times are agreed up front and written into the engagement.

Can you handle procurement, or do we buy the kit ourselves?

Either way works. We can source everything through trade channels and hand over working machines, or write the specification and let your procurement team buy it. Whichever you choose, we still build, deploy, and support it.

What size of organisation do you support?

From a handful of people up to multi-site offices. Small teams typically want us to be their IT department; larger ones bring us in alongside an existing team for the hardware and infrastructure layer specifically.
